Tampa Shooting Suspect Arrested, Charged With First Degree Murder

TAMPA, FL. – A 46-year-old man is behind bars after killing as man overnight in Tampa.

Tampa Police say they responded to the area of Main St. and Rome Av. Friday night, in reference to shots heard.

Investigators say as they arrived they found an adult male victim with an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital and later dies from the gunshot wound.

Through witness statements, detectives were quickly able to develop probable cause charges for Timothy Fulgiam Weeks, 46.

Weeks was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force and charged with Premeditated Murder in the First Degree and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
