“Our mission is to continue to address our housing affordability challenges from multiple approaches,” said Mayor Jane Castor. “The Tenant Services Team will be another useful resource that will enhance the customer experience and further support our residents during this difficult time.”

Additionally, a $75,000 pilot program will be implemented, at least through the end of the year, to help those residents who need legal advice or representation in dealing with housing-related issues. The City of Tampa has entered an agreement with Bay Area Legal Services that will allow the City to refer cases that require legal assistance.

More details and contact information for the Tenant Services Team will be released as they become available.
