TAMPA, Fla. – The City of Tampa offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day.
The revised collection schedule is as follows:
- Residential Customers who normally receive service on Monday will not receive garbage, recycling, or yard waste service. There will be no make-up day for Monday customers. Trash Collection will occur on the next scheduled service day. Regular residential collection service schedules will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
- Some Commercial Customers will be serviced as normally scheduled on Monday, May 27. 2024. Remaining commercial customers will receive collection service on a one-day delay through Saturday, June 1, 2024. Regular collection service schedules will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
- McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House located at 114 S. 34th St., will be closed on Memorial Day (Monday, May 27, 2024) and will reopen with regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, between the temporary hours of 8 am to noon.
