HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 57-year-old Temple Terrace man died after a crash that happened on southbound I-75 in Hillsborough County around 12:45 pm.
Troopers say the man was traveling southbound on I-75, north of I-4, when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of his vehicle.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man’s car departed the roadway, collided with the median guardrail, re-entered the roadway, and collided with an SUV driven by a 69-year-old Atlanta, Georgia, woman.

Troopers say both vehicles rotated to a stop along the shoulders of the highway.
The Temple Terrace man was transported to an area hospital but later died.
The driver of the SUV and her passenger, a 37-year-old Atlanta woman, both suffered minor injuries in the crash
