The Florida Lottery announced $9,000,000 in winnings this week, from three players, with one man winning $1,000 a day for life!
According to the Florida Lottery on Tuesday, Tommy Shaw, of Astor, claimed a $1 million top prize from THE FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000 Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Gainesville District Office. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $790,000.00
Shaw purchased his winning ticket from Winn-Dixie, located at 3120 North Woodland Boulevard in Deland. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $30 game, THE FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000, launched in February 2020 and features 155 top prizes of $1,000,000 and over $948 million in cash prizes! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.79.
On Wednesday, the Florida Lottery announced that Ryan Martin, 27, of Cantonment, claimed a $1 million prize from the new 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
“After winning on a few tickets last week, I decided to pick up another one on my way home from work,” Martin told the Lottery. “I was in total shock when I saw that I had won $1 million and immediately called my wife to tell her the good news!”
Martin purchased his winning ticket from Nine Mile Raceway, located at 701 West Nine Mile Road in Pensacola. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The new $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million – the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game – and the best odds to become an instant millionaire! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.
On Friday came the big winner. The Lottery announced that Hugo Juliao, of Miami, claimed a $1,000 a Day for Life top prize in the CASH4LIFE® Draw game from the February 21, 2022 drawing, at the Lottery’s Miami District Office.
He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $7,000,000.00.
Juliao purchased his winning CASH4LIFE Quick Pick ticket from Publix, located at Southwest 8th Street in Miami. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning CASH4LIFE ticket.
This popular multi-state game offers two-lifetime prizes, with the chance to win $1,000 a Day for Life or $1,000 a Week for Life. Florida is the ninth state to join CASH4LIFE.
