Former President Donald Trump on Monday swiped at both President Joe Biden and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over the issue of mental fitness.
On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump challenged Biden to take a cognitive-ability test, and ripped DeSantis for alleging that Trump is not as sharp as in the past because he confuses Biden for former President Barack Obama.
On one hand, Trump may have been reacting to former White House doctor Ronny Jackson, who treated Trump, Obama, and former President George W. Bush.

As the Tampa Free Press reported on Monday, Jackson, now a Republican congressman from Texas, told Fox News on Sunday that Biden’s mental abilities have deteriorated to the point of becoming a national security threat.
On the other hand, the DeSantis War Room, DeSantis’ rapid response media team, posted on X last week that Trump “on a number of occasions, he’s confused Obama and Biden.”
Last month, DeSantis’ camp also launched the “Trump Accident Tracker” on X, through which the Florida governor’s team counts Trump’s gaffes.
“Whenever I sarcastically insert the name Obama for Biden as an indication that others may actually be having a very big influence in running our Country, Ron DeSanctimonious and his failing campaign apparatus, together with the Democrat’s Radical Left ‘Disinformation Machine,’ go wild saying that ‘Trump doesn’t know the name of our President, (CROOKED!) Joe Biden. He must be cognitively impaired,’” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday.
“No, I know both names very well, never mix them up, and know that they are destroying our Country.”
“Also, and as reported, I just took a cognitive test as part of my Physical Exam, and ACED it,” he added. “Also ACED (a perfect score!) one taken while in the White House.”
“Biden should take one so we can determine why he wants Open Borders, No Energy Independence, A Woke Military, High Inflation, No Voter I.D., Men playing In Women’s Sports, Only Electric Cars & Trucks, A Weaponized DOJ/FBI, and so many other CRAZY things!!!” Trump concluded.
