Conservative pundit Tucker Carlson announced over the weekend that he is launching a new streaming service, which seems to complete the migration of his show from the Fox News Channel.

Carlson, once the most-watched host in cable TV news, posted the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday.

“We’ve been out of work for seven or eight months now. Hard to know, time flies when you’re unemployed,” Carlson joked to open the video, posted for his 10.9 million followers.

“But actually, we have been working in secret and producing an awful lot of material for months now — interviews, et cetera — and all of it has now found its way to tuckercarlson.com. We’re launching a brand new thing very soon. We’d love for you to see it,” he added.

His website includes a notice that says: “Coming soon. Tucker is back. Get on board.”

Cord Cutters News reported that it will cost $72 a year to join “Team Tucker.”

The website further notes that the launch of the streaming platform is “just days away,” and that by joining, the founding members can access “hours of exclusive members-only content” hosted by Carlson and other limited edition merchandise.”

Carlson has made a splash on X since being fired by Fox News in April.

He has posted interviews with former President Donald Trump; Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton; GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, conservative commentator Candace Owens and former Infowars founder Alex Jones.

Variety magazine noted that Carlson’s company, Last Country Inc., which he founded with Neil Patel (the par also launched The Daily Caller news website) raised $15 million to bankroll its operations. The funding was supplied by 1789 Capital, which was described as an “anti-woke” investment fund founded by investment banker Omeed Malik.
