A Virginia man has been charged with murder after killing his wife at the home of the woman’s parents in Florida.
According to police, a husband and wife were visiting from out of state when an argument ensued, and the man shot the woman.
When emergency crews arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene in a black Cadillac CTS.

An officer rode in the ambulance as the woman was being transported to Orlando Health Bayfront and later noticed a black Cadillac following the ambulance on the interstate.
Officers nearby tried to stop the Cadillac. It fled south, and a pursuit was authorized.
The car later crashed into some large landscaping rocks in the 1400 block of 54th Avenue South in St. Pete, police say.
The victim, 35-year-old Yasmin Grijalva, was pronounced dead at Orlando Health Bayfront.
Her husband, 28-year-old Devin Hansen of Virginia, was taken into custody and is being charged with the following:
- 1st Degree Murder
- Fleeing and Eluding
- Domestic Battery (misdemeanor)
This is still an ongoing investigation, police say.
