A 15-year-old Virginia boy has been charged with killing his adoptive parents, according to police.
According to FOX 19, police found the parents dead on Tuesday at their home in Chesapeake, Virginia, after the attack.
According to investigators, a knife or hammer was used in the murder.

The victims have been identified as 61-year-old Donna Daugherty and her husband 60-year-old John Daugherty.
Chesapeake police announced on Tuesday night that the murdered couple’s adopted 15-year-old son had been taken into custody and charged with their deaths.
It’s not yet clear what led up to the teen’s brutal attack on his parents, and police have not released a motive for the attack.
