NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – A New Port Richey woman was arrested for DUI on Monday after crashing through the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident.
According to police, on Monday at 8:12 PM, a 39-year-old male allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed lost control of his motorcycle on southbound U.S. Highway 19 and Green Key Road, causing him to lay his bike down.
Police say the man was taken to Bayonet Point Hospital, where he died from injuries suffered in the crash.

While officers were investigating the scene, a female identified as Kathleen Palasky, 60, drove her vehicle onto the curb through the police tape, running over evidence.
Police arrested Palasky and charged her with DUI.
