A woman was struck by an armored truck on Tuesday, and became stuck under the vehicle, according to Pasco Fire Rescue.

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A woman was struck by an armored truck on Tuesday, and became stuck under the vehicle, according to Pasco Fire Rescue.

The accident happened around 12:00 p.m on Tuesday in a parking lot at SR 52 and Little Road.

Officials say an adult female was hit by the Loomis Truck and her legs became stuck under the truck. Firefighters worked to quickly free the woman from under the truck’s metal step.

PFR says the woman was transported to a local hospital, listed as a trauma alert.
