BREAKING: 13-Year-Old Land O’ Lakes Boy Dies in a Tragic ATV Accident

LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 13-year-old boy from Land O’ Lakes was killed in a tragic ATV accident on Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers say an 11-year-boy from Knoxville Tennesee was riding a John Deere 825I ATV and was traveling westbound on a trail near 22501 SR-52. A 13-year-old boy, from Land O’ Lakes, was riding a Polaris Ranger Crew ATV and was traveling northbound on a trail near 22501 SR-52. The ATV’s entered a crossing between the trails at the same time and the front of the John Deer collided with the right side of Polaris. Upon impact, the 13-year-old boy was ejected from the ATV which overturned onto the child, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
