CLEARWATER, Fla,- The Clearwater Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a 16-year-old bicyclist critically injured.
The crash occurred at 10:41 p.m. at Keene Road and Flagler Avenue. A car that was traveling east on Flagler Avenue struck the bicyclist, who was northbound in the crosswalk and then fled the scene. The vehicle is thought to be a black four-door sedan.
The bicyclist was taken to All Children’s Hospital with potential life-threatening injuries. He was listed in critical but stable condition this morning.
