OCALA, FL. – A 16-year-old boy has died after a shooting in Ocala overnight.
According to police, around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Ocala Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred at Sutton Place apartments, located at 523 NE 23rd Circle, in Ocala.
Police say a 16-year-old male victim suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, but later died from injuries sustained.
Detectives are investigating and is working with the victim‘s family.
