19-Year-Old Arrested in Highlands County Avon Park Shooting

HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla. – On Friday, Highlands County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Tayten Hardy-Clunis of Avon Park, for the shooting of a 16-year-old boy that occurred on December 2, at 1029 Hal McRae Loop in Avon Park.

Deputies say Hardy-Clunis was charged with the following: Attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm or ammo by an adjudicated delinquent felon, and armed burglary of a dwelling. The victim is still in stable condition and expected to survive.
