Police say a Jeep Wagoneer was traveling east on Park Boulevard, approaching 40th Street, and the Hyundai Elantra was traveling west on Park Boulevard, attempting to make a U-turn at 40th Street, when both vehicles collided in the intersection.

“Tragically, alcohol is a factor for both drivers in this crash,” said Pinellas Park Police Department.

All of the occupants in the Hyundai have non-life threatening but serious bodily injuries and have been transported to Bayfront Hospital for treatment.

All occupants of the Jeep were uninjured.
