38-Year-Old Spring Hill Man Killed in Pasco DUI Crash

PASCO COUNY, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 24-year-old woman from New Port Richey, was charged in DUI Manslaughter in a fatal crash overnight.

A car driven by a 24-year-old woman was traveling northbound in the left turn lane of US-19 approaching Viva Via Drive. A motorcycle driven by the 38-year-old Spring Hill man was traveling southbound in the center lane of US-19 approaching Viva Via Drive.

At the intersection, the woman turned into the motorcycle path, and the two vehicles collided. The Spring Hill man was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries sustained during the crash. The 24-year-old woman was impaired and arrested by FHP Troopers for DUI Manslaughter and booked in the Pasco County Jail.
