July 7, 2020

By: Staff Report

TAMPA, Fla. – Instead of city firework displays, Tampa saw fireworks between law enforcement and protesters. The Dale Mabry protest being the most significant, as far as clashes with police and protesters, with 7 arrested.

The sleep-in protest planned near Lowry Park didn’t happen, as protesters ended up at the Tampa Police headquarters that night, to protest the 7 who were arrested on Dale Mabry.

Calls for Chief Brian Dugan to resign continue and petitions for the removal of Mayor Castor are still circulation around the web.

COVID-19 cases are up, deaths are trending down or flat.

Florida is as crazy as ever.
