58-Year-Old St. Pete Man Killed in Overnight Pedestrian Crash

SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 58-Year-Old St. Pete Man was killed Tuesday night in yet another pedestrian crash in Saint Petersburg.

According to Florida Highway Patrol around 9 p.m., the man was walking southbound across 54th Avenue North. An SUV driven by a 57-year-old man from Lakewood Ranch was traveling eastbound in the center lane of 54th
Avenue North approaching 26th Street North. The St. Pete man entered the path of the SUV and was struck by the vehicle, and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
