Holiday Man Struck And Killed On US-19 Early Friday

A 71-year-old Holiday man was killed in a crash that happened around 4:17 am on Friday.

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 71-year-old Holiday man was killed in a crash that happened around 4:17 am on Friday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford F150 was traveling southbound on US-19 in the center lane.

Troopers say at the intersection of Mile Stretch Drive, the truck continued into the intersection under a green traffic signal and collided with a pedestrian walking eastbound across the north portion of the intersection.

Troopers say the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
