PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – An Apollo Beach woman was killed in a Pasco County head-on crash that happened on Wednesday around 7:21 pm.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Honda FIT, driven by a 44-year-old Apollo Beach woman, was traveling northbound on Chancey Road.
Troopers say that north of Correia Drive, the woman failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline, and collided nearly head-on with a Honda Civic driven by a 43-year-old Zephyrhills woman

Troopers say the Apollo Beach woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Honda Civic and a 38-year-old male passenger from Zephyrhills both suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
