‘Appalled’ U.S. Veteran Matt Zeller Goes Off On MSNBC’s Brian Wiliams And Biden

On MSNBC this afternoon, MSNBC’s Brian Willams opened his slot for Veteran Matt Zeller, and it probably didn’t go as planned.

Zeller is the author of Watches Without Time (Just World Books, 2012), a vivid description of what he experienced while serving as an embedded combat adviser with the Afghan security forces in Ghazni, Afghanistan, in 2008.

Zeller is also a Captain in the US Army Reserve and a former officer of the Central Intelligence Agency.

He was the Democrat candidate for Congress in 2010 in NY’s 29th Congressional District.

Brian Williams said about Biden’s speech on Afghanistan, “He didn’t run from it, he owned it. He owned this decision. He owned the fact that, as he put it, the buck stops with him.”

Zeller responds, “I feel like I watched a different speech than the rest of you guys. I was appalled!”
