CLEARWATER, FL. – Big Storm Brewing Co. is releasing a signature beer in honor of country singer Craig Campbell; C.C. Cold Beer.
After seeing an acoustic performance of Campbell’s popular single “All My Friends Drink Beer” on Instagram, Big Storm commented, “but do all your friends drink Big Storm beer?”
Campbell replied and soon after a new partnership was formed. Big Storm brewed C.C. Cold Beer, a smooth pilsner for all your friends to enjoy.
“This is such a crazy story,” said country singer Craig Campbell. “I posted the video, Big Storm responded, I happened to be performing in the area on an upcoming weekend, and they invited me to tour the brewery. Their products are top-notch, their marketing is fun, and from (owners) LJ and Shannon on down, they’re just great people who I’m proud to be in business with.”
Starting on Saturday, April 30, C.C. Cold Beer will be available on tap and by the case at Craig’s new Grindstone Cowboy Coffee Shop in Eagleville, Tennessee. In the coming weeks, a variety of clubs, restaurants and bars across the country will begin carrying the new brew. It will be available at Big Storm’s taprooms when possible.
“I wasn’t even sure if Craig would see our witty comment on Instagram, let alone respond,” added L.J. Govoni, co-owner of Big Storm Brewing. “Now here we are releasing a beer together. We are big fans of Craig as a person and an artist, so partnering with him and his family was a no brainer. It was obvious in our meeting that spending time with loved ones is very important to both groups, and we can’t think of a better way to do that than with a cold one in your hands.”
Craig has been headlining the Craig Campbell Tour, by God since his “by God” single was released at the end of February. The neo-traditional hitmaker wrote the moving song with Thomas Archer and Jordan Walker, and the single is available HERE through his Grindstone Records label.
