POLK COUNTY, Fla. -The driver who struck and killed 9-year-old Andres Martinez was located late Friday night and has been booked into the Hardee County Jail.
Gilbert Almaguer, 45, of Bowling Green, will be transferred to the Polk County Jail.
Deputies said a child, 9-year-old Andreas Martinez, was riding a bike on Hutchins Road in front of his house when he was struck and killed.

Andres Martinez was a fourth grader at Lewis Anna Woodbury Elementary School in Fort Meade.
“We need your help. We need to know who you may know that drives a red four-door pickup truck. Chevrolet. Maybe raised up a little bit, with large tires,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, prior to the arrest of Almaguer.
