TAMPA, Fla. – An upcoming construction project will impact routine driving patterns in Downtown Tampa.
Starting Monday, May 13th, 2024, E. Jackson Street, between Tampa Street and Franklin Street, will be reduced to one eastbound lane as crews replace an aging wastewater pipe.
The closure is expected to last up to three weeks.

Drivers should exercise extra caution in the area or avoid it altogether by using N. Ashley Drive to either E. Whiting Street or E. Madison Street. Tampa Police Officers will direct traffic in the area.
