TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Seven and OnBoard Tampa Bay are hosting a Transportation Career Expo on Monday, October 16, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Embassy Suites – University of South Florida Campus (3705 Spectrum Blvd. Tampa, Florida 33612).

The Expo will host over 50 employers looking to hire interns, entry-level, as well as experienced professionals in various sectors of the transportation industry. Careers in survey, roadway engineering, structural engineering, safety, transportation planning, environmental sciences, and many more will be showcased.

There will also be a series of interactive exhibits with projects that are happening today in the Tampa Bay region.

Who Should Attend? 

Students, recent graduates, and new candidates are all welcome to attend. 

There will be opportunities to meet with employers and learn more about the vast opportunities available in the transportation industry.

A variety of interactive exhibits will be ongoing throughout the day so participants can experience the industry and visualize some of the most interesting careers in the Tampa Bay region. A photographer will also be on-site to provide free headshot photos as well. There is no cost to register.
