Today, the Florida Lottery announced that Irma Breek, of Orlando, claimed a $1 million prize from the POWERBALL® drawing held on July 23, 2022, at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office.

The winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Power Ball number.

Breek purchased her $1 million-winning Quick Pick ticket from Publix, located at 1501 Meeting Place Baldwin Park in Orlando.

The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Monday, November 14, at 10:59 p.m., ET, with an estimated $59 million jackpot. Tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m., ET to be eligible for this drawing. POWERBALL drawings are broadcast live, in high definition, from the Lottery’s state-of-the-art draw studio in Tallahassee.

Last week the sole jackpot-winning ticket for the world-record $2.04 billion POWERBALL jackpot was sold in California.

A total of three Florida tickets won second-tier prizes; these winning tickets matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Powerball number.

One lucky player won $2 million and two players each won $1 million.
