Gen. Flynn Wants House Republicans To Investigate Then-VP Biden’s Ukraine Trips

The Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot subpoenaed former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn and five other allies of former President Donald Trump on Monday, according to a press release.

It may seem only a coincidence that President Joe Biden has such an intense interest in, and has funneled more than $100 billion of taxpayers’ money to, Ukraine, where his son Hunter cut multimillion-dollar business deals when Biden was vice president.

But Ret. Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn believes something doesn’t add up. So, he is calling on House Republicans to investigate why Joe Biden was so drawn to Ukraine when he was vice president.

In an interview last week with the Gateway Pundit, Flynn, who served as former President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, referred to a Substack article by the author known as “Clandestine,” who discussed a phone call then-Vice President Biden made to former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in November 2016 after Trump won the election over Hillary Clinton.

While the exact details are sketchy, Biden reportedly told Poroshenko, “This is getting very, very close to what I don’t want to have happen. I don’t want Trump to get in a position where he thinks he’s about to buy onto a policy where the financial system is going to collapse, and he’s going to be looked to pour more money into Ukraine.”

“That’s how he’ll think about it before he gets sophisticated enough to know the detail.”

On Twitter, after the article appeared, Flynn replied, “No one should be surprised about this. What Americans now know is how totally crooked and corrupt the Obama and this current administration are. Yes, that’s right…crooked and corrupt!”

In the interview with Gateway Pundit, Flynn added, “I don’t think most people know but Vice President Biden, I think in his last year that he was the vice president, he visited Ukraine like 12 or 13 times.”

“It’s an incredible amount of times. First of all, there’s only 12 months in a year, and for the Vice President of the United States spending that much time in Ukraine, you have to ask why?”

Flynn argued, “Every single one of those trips needs to be investigated.”

“How many of them did Hunter participate on? Or how many did Joe Biden bring his brother on? All these kinds of issues, the kinds of questions, the type of questions that need to be asked, and it doesn’t need to be asked in back rooms. It needs to be asked in public.”

He called on Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, to include this episode of the “Biden crime family” on the agenda of the ongoing “weaponization of government” hearings.

“Everything from what we learned in Russiagate, these fake impeachments. Remember, President Trump was impeached over one phone call to Ukraine, a very perfect phone call to Ukraine. He was impeached,” Flynn said.

Biden has “got multiple trips over to Ukraine for what purpose? What was he doing? I want people to understand that we cannot have two systems of justice in the United States.”
