Biden Says He Hasn’t Been Briefed On Mar-A-Lago Raid Documents

Geraldo Rips Biden On Silence Following Death Of Teen Whose Killer Called Him A “Republican Extremist”

It’s been a week since a North Dakota man mowed down a teenager he labeled a “Republican extremist,” and still no response from President Joe Biden.

It’s been a week since a North Dakota man mowed down a teenager he labeled a “Republican extremist,” and still no response from President Joe Biden.

Geraldo Rivera thinks that’s appalling.

Rivera on Friday ripped Biden for his unwillingness to try to tamp down the climate of political violence he helped create by demonizing Republicans.

In an interview with Steve Doocy of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” Rivera compared the treatment of Shannon Brandt, the 41-year-old accused of running over 18-year-old Caylor Ellingson and then leaving him for dead, to the case of James Fields.

Fields was the Ohio man who in 2017 plowed into a group of counterprotesters at a white nationalist rally in Virgina and killed a woman.

Rivera said that based on the fact that Brandt is out on $50,000 bail, while Fields was sentenced to life in prison, it remains to be seen if the anti-Republican Brandt will face the same fate.

“We are operating right now under the climate that President Joe Biden helped create when he said we have to fight MAGA extremists, that the left has to be motivated against the right. We have to, you know, fight them bare-knuckle if necessary. That was his point metaphorically,” Rivera told Doocy.

“This is where this goes, where political extremist rhetoric goes, Steve, is to violence, disorder, anarchy, and now an 18-year-old is dead and the man who ran him over and killed him is out on a very low bail,” he added.

No evidence has emerged to suggest Ellingson was involved in any kind of extremist movement or group.

When Doocy said the public needed to hear Biden condemn the murderous act of someone who likely supported him, Rivera agreed.

“We should absolutely [hear from Biden],” said Rivera. “This has to be condemned. You have to stop the cycle of violence right now before it spins right out of control.”

Perhaps one reason Biden has not spoken out is that no one has told him.

The liberal media has apparently issued a news blackout of Ellingson’s death because of the circumstances – something that would be unimaginable if a Donald Trump supporter had mauled a liberal.

The New York Times and The Washington Post have not reported on it, nor have CBS News or NBC News. On its website, ABC News carried two stories about case by the Associated Press, the second of which mentioned Brandt’s claim of killing a “Republican extremist.” The AP reported that second story because North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley, a Republican, issued a statement urging political leaders to tone down the rhetoric.
