Rudy Giuliani argued that “Soros-purchased” prosecutors are getting people killed in Democrat-run cities.

During an interview with Newsmax on Saturday, New York City’s former mayor spoke out against the lax criminal-justice practices inspired by left-wing billionaire George Soros.

Giuliani is credited with bringing the Big Apple back from descent into chaos with his tough-on-crime policies when he served as mayor. But the last two mayors, Bill de Blasio and Eric Adams, have overseen a reversal in those policies, and district attorneys backed by Soros are facilitating that.

Giuliani, however, said the problem is not just contained in New York.

“People are being killed [in New York] because of district attorneys,” he told Newsmax. “Same thing in Chicago. Same thing in Philadelphia. Same thing in Atlanta.

“This is a national problem. [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg may be the worst.”

Giuliani’s comments come as House Republicans on the Judiciary Committee this week hold hearings in Manhattan about the increasing crime problem.

Bragg has reduced 52% of potential felonies committed in his jurisdiction to misdemeanors. Giuliani noted that there may be as many as 9,000 people free on New York City streets today who would have been locked up if he was still the mayor.

“That is a crime wave. The crime wave is created by Bragg,” Giuliani said.

Trump noted that Bragg is going soft on hardened criminals while he pursues a flimsy case against Trump, for allegedly paying stripper Stormy Daniels to keep quiet during the 2016 presidential campaign.

“This is the kind of guy who indicted the president on what is a non-indictment,” Giuliani added.

“The indictment [of Trump] is deficient as a matter of law. He doesn’t charge a crime. He just says the word crime. That is not charging a crime. He has to describe, and he never has, the crime that Trump allegedly was aiding by his false statement.”

“Anybody that’s taken a half-year of criminal law would say that indictment has to be dismissed, because it doesn’t charge a crime,” said Giuliani.

Guiliani also said he has high hopes for the GOP’s Judiciary Committee hearing this week.

“If they reveal it correctly, you know, and they get the cooperation they deserve, they’ll reveal an astounding, astonishing situation unfortunately not unique to New York, but existing in 50 other Soros-purchased cities,” Giuliani said.

“Basically, the district attorney does not work for the people. He works for George Soros and George Soros’ concept of one world, which includes creating chaos in inner America, meaning crime.”

Soros in Florida supported former state’s attorneys Andrew Warren in Hillsborough County and Aramis Ayala in Orange County. Soros also backed Ayala’s successor, State Attorney Monique Worrell.
