TAMPA, Fla. – Governor DeSantis rescinded an order requiring people traveling from New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut to Florida, to quarantine for 14-days.

DeSantis signed the order, which impacts already existing executive orders, on Wednesday.
The order signed by DeSantis Wednesday also eliminated the language for when restaurant employees should be kept from reporting to work. The order says, “The Department of Business and Professional Regulation shall ensure all restaurants implement employee screening protocols pursuant to guidance developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
The second section of the order states, “Section 3 of Executive Order 20-139, which incorporates requirements of Executive Orders 20-80 and 20-82, as extended by Executive Order 20-166, is rescinded,” which is in reference to the mandatory travel quarantine.
The order is short and you can read it below.
