APOLLO BEACH, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a sailboat fire in Apollo Beach.

According to officials, at 4:46 PM, the emergency dispatch center received 911 calls from individuals reporting a 45-foot sailboat on fire.

First arriving units found a heavily involved sailboat docked behind the home at the above address.

Crews extended hose lines to battle the blaze.

The fire boat also responded and fought the fire from the water. 

It took firefighters just over one hour to fully extinguish the fire. No civilians or first responders were injured. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
