TAMPA, FL. – Beginning today at 9am, several lanes on North Tampa Street will be closed between West Virginia Avenue and West Kentucky Avenue as the Tampa Water Department returns to finish the roadway surface following prior work on the water distribution system.
Modifications to lane closures will be necessary as the work progresses. Barricades and signs will be adjusted throughout the day to assist with traffic flow.
Please use caution when driving in the area.
Finishing the roadway surface is expected to be completed by 5 pm today. Repair and restoration schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
“The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone’s patience during this time,” said Tampa Water Department in a statement.
