This DUI Wolf Pack is dedicated to the memory of Stephen Edward Toner.

On December 11, 2010, Stephen Edward Toner passed away after being struck by an impaired driver. Toner was walking his Springer Spaniel in Sorrento, Florida, when a vehicle driven by Stephen Pegues exited the roadway, striking Toner and his beloved dog, leaving them to succumb to their injuries.

Witnesses were able to obtain a vehicle tag on the truck driven by Pegues.

Pegues fled the scene, later stating he was impaired and celebrating his birthday during a recorded jail phone call.

Toner was an investigator for the Department of Business and Professional Regulations with the Division of Pari-Mutual Wagering and a loving father to two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren, and a brother.
