ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – A 47-year-old man was found shot and later died in St. Petersburg Wednesday, according to police.
At 9:33 a.m., police received a call of a shooting in the 2100 block of 17th Avenue South. Upon arrival, officers found the body of a 47-year-old man lying in a field and confirmed the victim had been shot.
Police say the victim was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he was pronounced deceased.
