It’s astonishingly surreal when it happens, even though it’s expected. Last week, rabid protesters shut down part of New York City’s subway system and hinted at future violence to come if they didn’t get “justice” for Jordan Neely, a seemingly mentally ill man who had a long arrest record and a history of physically attacking innocents on the train platforms and elsewhere.

Carlton Gilford Charged In Execution Style Death Of 2 Men, Tulsa Police Department

Neely, who was black and had been arrested more than 40 times, died after being temporarily put in a chokehold by a U.S. Marine named Daniel Penny, who is white, while the two were riding the subway. Passengers claimed Neely was menacing and threatening them.

Since his death on May 1, Neely has continued to be a lead item for the major media eager to ramp up racial conflict — even as there is no evidence that Penny intended to kill Neely or acted out of racism.

Yet in the middle of the country, we have clear evidence of two racially motivated and premeditated murders, and the national media is utterly silent.

Why? Because the victims are white and the alleged killer is black.

On May 2, the day after Neely died in the Big Apple, Tulsa, Oklahoma, police announced that the district attorney in the city had charged Carlton Gilford, who is black, with the cold-blooded, execution-style murders of two white men.

On April 18, Gilford allegedly shot Lundin Hathcock in the back of the head while he was inside a public library. A short time later, Gilford reportedly shot James McDaniel in the back of the head inside a convenience store.

Gilford admitted to the shootings when police finally nabbed him nearly a week later. He was charged with Oklahoma’s version of a hate crime in addition to two counts of first-degree murder.

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler told local media last week that “race played a role in it.” “I feel like that is something we can prove, and it is something that a judge or jury obviously needs to listen to,” he added. “So, we will present that information along with everything else.”

Forget about protests and threats of riots.

Amazingly, the case has generated zero interest in the national media.

Search results for Gilford’s name came up empty at the websites of The New York Times, Washington Post, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and PBS.

Among the major left-wing media, only Newsweek has managed to report on the murders of Hathcock and McDaniel.

Even Today News Africa carried a story about Gilford.

The left-wing media’s attempt to perpetuate the Democrats’ claims about white supremacy and rampant racism is as tenacious as it is false.

But this mindset to promote the narrative at all costs is also undermining the media’s credibility and the public’s ability to believe anything the media tells it.
