New Port Richey Attempted Bank Robbery, Suspect Sought

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – On October 21, 2020, at approximately 4:20 p.m an unidentified male walked into the Chase Bank located at 5029 U.S. Highway 19, New Port Richey.  The male passed a note to the teller demanding at least $2,000.  The teller did not provide any money and the suspect left empty-handed.  The suspect was described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black male in his 30’s to ’40s, soft-spoken, thin build, 5’04-5’06”, with hazel eyes.  The suspect was wearing a baggie white dress shirt, light-colored baggy pants, black tie, brown duckbill cap, dark-colored mask, and dark dress shoes.
