SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with a fatal accident involving two motor vehicles.
The crash happened at 2:26 am on Sunday. According to deputies, one person died at the scene.
Eastbound Clark Road from Gannt Road to I-75 will be shut down for an extended period while the Florida Highway Patrol conducts its investigation.
