PLANT CITY, Fla. – Beginning early Monday morning, February 8, the Florida Department of Transportation will close Park Road just south of Sam Allen Road (CR 580) in Plant City.
This closure is necessary for new utility installation and roadway reconstruction work.
This section of Park Boulevard is expected to remain closed for approximately 14 days, weather permitting.
During this closure, motorists will be detoured around the work zone using Sam Allen Road, Wilder Road, N. Frontage Road, SR 39A, and S. Frontage Road.
Access to emergency vehicles, residential properties, and local businesses to be maintained. Electronic message boards and detour signs will assist motorists traveling through this area.
