Sunday’s game in Vegas against the 49ers will be the fourth time Patrick Mahomes will start a Super Bowl. That will tie the 28-year-old with four others for third among quarterbacks.

In three Super Bowls, of which he has won two, Mahomes has thrown for 738 yards that are good for eighth all-time in the game’s history. His five touchdown passes are tied for seventh. He threw three in last year’s win over the Eagles.

Here is a look at the quarterbacks who have started at least four Super Bowls.

Tom Brady 10 (7-3)
Think about how few quarterbacks have played 10 years in the NFL and consider that Brady played in 10 Super Bowls. Remarkable. His stat line reads like a full season including topping the Super Bowl record book for completions (277), attempts (421), passing yards (3,039) and passing touchdowns (21). Brady’s 505 yards passing in a Super Bowl LII loss to the Eagles and 466 yards in an overtime win against Atlanta in Super Bowl LI are the top two marks.

John Elway 5 (2-3)
In his first three Super Bowls, which were in a four-year stretch, Elway threw two touchdown passes and six interceptions in losing all three games. He won his final two Super Bowls and was MVP of Super Bowl XXXIII after throwing for 336 yards and one TD while rushing for a score against the Falcons.

Joe Montana 4 (4-0)
Montana was the MVP in three of his four Super Bowl wins. He threw 11 touchdown passes, which was the record before Brady broke it, and did not throw a single interception in 122 pass attempts. His 127.8 career rating is a Super Bowl record. In his final Super Bowl appearance following the 1989 season, Montana threw what was a record five touchdown passes in a win over Denver. The mark was broken a few years later by former teammate Steve Young.

Terry Bradshaw 4 (4-0)
Bradshaw threw nine touchdown passes in his four games, including four against Dallas in Super Bowl XIII when he was the game’s MVP. He made it back-to-back MVPs the following year despite throwing three interceptions in the Steelers’ win over the Rams. Bradshaw also threw for 309 yards and two TDs in what was his final Super Bowl.

Peyton Manning 4 (2-2)
Manning split his four Super Bowls between the Colts and Broncos. He was MVP of his first Super Bowl, which Indy won over the Bears following the 2006 season. The final game of his career was a Super Bowl V win over Carolina. Manning’s 1,001 career passing yards are fifth in Super Bowl history.

Roger Staubach 4 (2-2)
Staubach was the MVP of Super Bowl VI, his first of four Super Bowls. He totaled only 137 yards (119 passing), but threw a pair of touchdown passes in a turnover-free effort. Staubach’s threw eight touchdown passes in four games, good for fourth all-time. He threw three of the TD passes in his final Super Bowl, a loss to the Steelers and Terry Bradshaw as noted above.
