LAS VEGAS, Nev. – From the hundreds of credentialed media on Radio Row at Mandalay Bay with stations broadcasting to listeners and viewers worldwide, it’s quite a sight.

Hosts talk to big-name celebrities, usually pushing a product or agenda, but it’s a win-win for both sides.

I remember being at the Tampa Convention Center three years ago during the Pandemic (when the Bucs beat the Chiefs), and you could count on two hands how many stations were on Radio Row.

The NFL doesn’t give out a specific number, but it’s as big as I’ve ever seen.

Stations and digital networks are doing shows and interviews and national programs from FanDuel, DraftKings, Fox Sports, CBS Sports Peacock etc.

Early in the week, it’s usually light, but when I arrived on Tuesday and saw all the activity, I knew this Super Bowl LVIII would be different.

You never know who you’ll run into. For those in the media, Super Bowl Weeks can be bigger than the game itself.
