TAMPA: A Tampa protest is scheduled for this Sunday the 14th in Hyde Park, but this time with one specific demand of Mayor Jane Castor.
Fire the Police Chief Brian Dugan.
“We call on Mayor Castor to fire Chief Dugan for his lack of transparency surrounding less than lethal force used on peaceful protestors,” said the organizers.

Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan defended his police actions during last week’s protests and said the department is trying to create a balance between allowing crowds to gather alongside the safety of the protesters and officers.
“We’re doing our best to give them the freedom, but we have to find that balance of are we going to let them take over our town or not,” Dugan said.
