TAMPA, Fla. – A shooting in Tampa has left one man dead, and an investigation is underway in Tampa Saturday.
According to investigators, Tampa Police responded to the report of a shooting near the Stop & Shop’ in the 8200 block of N. Nebraska Ave on Saturday afternoon.
Officers arrived to find an adult black male with upper body trauma lying in the street. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died from injuries.

“The male was located by the police and transported to St Joseph Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries,” police said.
Detectives are working to develop leads in this case.
Although it is early in the investigation, this does not appear to be a random incident.
