TAMPA, Fla. – According to the Tampa Police Department, Tampa Police Officer Randy Barnwell has been arrested on Domestic Battery charges.
Around 12:17 a.m. on Friday, Hillsborough County Sheriff Deputies arrested Barnwell, 53-years-old, for domestic battery. Police say that Barnwell has been on the police force since 2002, and is assigned to the traffic unit.
Barnwell has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
