TAMPA, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a working fire at the 7200 block of 50th Avenue South in Tampa.
“Multiple calls came into our dispatch center at 9:33 AM today from individuals reporting a fully involved mobile home,” said HCFR.
HCFR’s Engine 1 was first on the scene, confirming flames and smoke coming from the structure.
Crews initiated a defensive attack, knocking the blaze down while protecting the neighboring houses.

Truck 46 and Engine 16 conducted primary and secondary searches.
“All residents were out of the home, but two dogs succumbed to the conditions of the fire. There were no injuries to civilians or first responders,” said HCFR.
“Our investigations unit is on the scene working on a cause determination. The red cross has been called for two adults and several children,” said HCFR.
