BRANDON, FL. – A 27-year-old Brandon man was killed early Sunday morning after be hit by an SUV on Causeway Blvd.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the SUV was traveling eastbound on Causeway Boulevard in the outside lane near 82nd Street South.
Troopers say the Branson man was either seated on laying down in the road when the SUV struck the man.
The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the SUV, a 78-year-old Wimauma man was uninjured in the crash. Troopers say the crash happened around 6:19 a.m. Sunday.
