HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – A 42-year-old Zephyrhills man was killed Sunday morning in a crash that happened around 10:30 am.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on SR-574 (MLK Blvd), just east of Williams Road, as the Zephyrhills man traveled northbound across the highway.
Troopers say the bicycle entered the path of the pickup truck and the truck collided with the bicyclist.
The Zephyrhills man was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
