TARPON SPRINGS, Fla,- Tarpon Springs Police Department Detectives along with the State Fire Marshals Office are investigating after a body was found in a burned vehicle.
The incident was reported to Tarpon Springs Police Department at approximately 1157 pm on January 21, 2021. The vehicle was located in the area of Pampas St and High St.
Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue responded to a 911 call about a vehicle on fire on North Spring Boulevard and Pampas Avenue. Firefighters extinguished the fire and a human body was located inside.
At this time the identity of the person or cause of death are unknown. When further information is available the media will be updated.
