HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from our media partners and the community in locating a missing, endangered man. A Purple Alert has been issued.
According to HCSO, Angel Nurse. 38, has been reported missing by a family member, who is also his caregiver.
Deputies say Nurse was last seen on November 10, 2023, in the area of Springbrook Hospital, located at 7007 Grove Road in Brooksville.

“Authorities at Springbrook Hospital advised that Mr. Nurse was transported to the Talbot House, located at 814 N. Kentucky Avenue in Lakeland. Authorities at the Talbot House have no record of Mr. Nurse checking in to their facility,” said HCSO.
It is believed Mr. Nurse may be in the Lakeland area.
Family members advised that Mr. Nurse does not have a cell phone or a social media account.
