Only in Florida, well maybe not, but we have it all here. A Florida woman has been arrested after getting naked at a bar, after being refused service by the bar manager.
According to an arrest affidavit, Kelly Elkins, 49, stopped by the Beach Lounge in St. Pete Beach and stripped naked in the bar after being told she was too drunk to get served around 2:15 am on Friday morning.
When deputies arrived, Elkins was completely naked.
According to investigators, deputies told Elkins multiple times to get dressed and Elkins finally obliged about 50% and put on zip-up hoodie. Deputies say they asked Elkins to put on her pants, which she stated, “she was too tired.”
Elkins was charged with disorderly conduct and booked into the Pinellas County Jail, She was released on her own recognizance.
It should be noted that prior to the naked escapade, Elkins was arrested two days prior for eating at a local restaurant and not paying.
According to the Florida Bar, Elkins is listed as a member of the Florida Bar, which she joined in 2001 after graduating from John Marshall Law School in 2000.
